To get started, you will need a Carpenter's Bookshelf. It is crafted by surrounding a book with 8 wood planks. To use it, place it down and then break it. This will give you the Carpenter's Guidebook. This book tells you all the recipes.

Wax is made by smelting honeycomb. It is used to make candles, which are light sources that come in all 16 colors.
Colored lamps are decorative blocks that come in all 16 colors. They light up the same brightness as glowstone.

Caution tape is crafted from 8 paper surrounding a redstone torch. It is used to make caution blocks, decorative blocks that come in all 16 colors.
Gypsum is found in mesas. It is used to make plaster. You can also craft 4 gypsum dust into 2 bonemeal.
Plaster is a decorative block, made by smelting gypsum dust, or from sand and clay. It can be made into trim using a stonecutter. There are also variants with ceiling lights, fans, outlets and light switches.
Wallpaper is a decorative block that comes in all 16 colors. It is made from plaster, paper and dye.
Bookshelves have been added for all the wood types, including the new Nether wood! The new bookshelves DO NOT work for enchanting, as this is impossible on Bedrock Edition.
